Ohio Means Jobs Tuscarawas County

Ohio Means Jobs Tuscarawas County is northeastern Ohio's premier workforce development and training center that connects jobseekers with employers by providing numerous resources in a single location. It is a free service made possible through funds provided by the U.S. Department of Labor and operated locally by the Workforce Investment Board, the Stark and Tuscarawas County Commissioners and the Mayor of the City of Canton. The mission of Ohio Means Jobs is to enhance economic development in Stark and Tuscarawas counties by providing a common point of access to all partner programs and to the desired employment, education and training information and activities for both employers and job seekers.

Ohio Means Jobs' Business Services Department offers the following fee-free recruiting services to employers: Recruit qualified job seekers; Recruiters to pre-screen resumes to an employer's qualifications; professional and confidential on-site interview and conference rooms, Mass recruiting assistance; Free advertising, and Recruitment of professionals locally and nationally.

Assistance also available for: Outplacement Assistance, Labor Market Information, Information on Federal Programs, Community Resource Contacts, On-the-Job Training, and Meeting Affirmative Action and Federal Contractor Requirements.
