The Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce is a not for profit organization consisting of business and community leaders who have joined together to promote the civic and commercial progress of our community.

The Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce was officially incorporated in 1959 following a merger of the Dover and New Philadelphia Chambers of Commerce. Your Chamber works tirelessly to create a climate of growth and success in the community. Through leadership opportunities, volunteer efforts and business-building programs focused on critical business, civic and social priorities, the Chamber improves the economic vitality and quality of life for its members and our county.

The policies of the Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce are the responsibility of its Board of Directors which is comprised of 18 business leaders representing all segments of the community. The Chamber employs a President/CEO who is responsible for general management of staff and coordination of all organizational activities designed to ensure and increase the Chamber’s membership and financial well being. We are a 501-(C)- 6 organization under the Internal Revenue Service codes. The Chamber is a not-for-profit organization, but not a tax-deductible charity organization, such as United Way, Community Hospice or Rainbow Connection.
